Layout and design
MDC aims to create a high-quality, sustainable development on the land at the former Tollesby Shops. The layout of the proposals will ensure the most efficient use of the land, while maintaining appropriate heights and distances in relation to surrounding buildings.
The scheme includes five ground floor retail units, with the upper floors offering 24 one- and two-bedroom apartments. These will all be finished to a high specification, including nationally-recognised spatial standards. All of the units will be available for let at the end of the construction process.
Communal outdoor amenity space has been considered, and will be located on the third floor. The space, for the benefit of residents of the building, will be accessed via the main central core.
Parking will be provided for both residential and commercial use.
